Shiina Sensei's Seminar in Kirkland
Great participation from Ottawa JKA students at the seminar in Kirkland taught by Katsutoshi Shiina Sensei (7th Dan) from JKA Tokyo HQ on July 11. The seminar was followed by a friendly tournament.
We would like to thank the organizers for extending the invitation, and our members for supporting the event! We loved seeing everyone there and will be aiming for the best results in the future.

Interesting fact: One of Shiina Sensei's daughters, Mai Shiina Sensei, is a JKA HQ Instructor, JKA World Champion in Kumite division and the first ever female Grand Champion of the JKA.
