Membership

Feel free to drop by and watch a class. We are always available at the dojo to answer your questions. ​

Registration is required before joining the dojo. Please complete the Registration Form below before coming in for your first class.

Membership Policy

  • All training fees are subject to HST.

  • The training fees are subject to change.

  • Refunds are not provided for the training fees.

  • In addition to the training fees, there is an annual $30 JKA Affiliation fee paid on January 1st of each year. 

  • Saeki Dojo reserves the right to refuse participation or terminate the membership at any time if a student's behavior is deemed inappropriate or violates the values of the dojo.

Drop-In Class

Try the class before committing to the membership. 

 

Drop-in fees can be paid online by using the button below or in person. We accept cash or card payments at the dojo. The fees are non-refundable.

  • Drop-In fee is $20

Sign Up for Monthly Membership

​​Includes unlimited classes each month.

​

If you wish to sign up for monthly membership, please follow the link below. Monthly members will receive automatic invoice after one month on the 1st of each month. Monthly memberships apply to the current month only and can be paused or cancelled at anytime. In addition to the training fees, there is a one-time sign up fee that includes the administration fee and JKA Affiliation fee for the current calendar year. The fees are non-refundable.

Yearly Membership

Best value for the long-term commitment and dedicated students who intend to train consistently throughout the year.

To pay your yearly membership, please use the link below. Membership is valid for one calendar year (January 1–December 31). All fees are non-refundable.

  • Adult Yearly Membership is $950 + $30 annual JKA Affiliation fee

  • Youth Yearly Membership is $760 + $30 annual JKA Affiliation fee.

OTTAWA J.K.A. INC. — WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & CONSENT FORM

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS DOCUMENT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.


1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that participation in karate training and related martial arts activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: falls, physical contact, strain, sprains, equipment use, collisions, or other injuries that may occur during classes, demonstrations, or events conducted by OTTAWA J.K.A. INC. (“the Dojo”).I freely and voluntarily assume all such risks, known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for my participation.


2. Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any classes, training, or activities of the Dojo, I hereby waive, release, and discharge OTTAWA J.K.A. INC., its owners, directors, instructors, assistant instructors, volunteers, employees, and affiliated parties (collectively, “the Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, that may occur during or as a result of my participation.


I agree not to sue or make any claim against the Releasees for any such matter.


3. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, costs, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) resulting from my participation or conduct during any Dojo activities.


4. Compliance with Rules

I agree to follow all safety rules, dojo etiquette, and instructions of the instructors. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from participation without refund.


5. Medical Authorization

I certify that I am physically fit and have no condition that would prevent my safe participation. In the event of injury or medical emergency, I authorize the Dojo to seek medical attention on my behalf and accept full responsibility for any resulting costs.


6. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario. If any part of this waiver is found invalid, the remaining sections shall remain enforceable.


7. Confirmation

By signing below, I confirm that I have read and understood this Waiver, Release of Liability, and Consent Form. I fully understand that I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue. I sign this agreement freely and voluntarily.
