Join us for a 4-day intensive training at the 2025 Saeki Dojo Summer Camp from Thursday to Sunday (July 17-20) in Ottawa. The camp will be taught by the two of Canada’s top JKA instructors — Minoru Saeki Sensei (7th Dan), the founder of Ottawa JKA Canada with over five decades of experience and commitment to the art of karate, and Seiji Saeki Sensei (4th Dan), Head Instructor of Saeki Dojo, who honed his skills as an instructor graduate at JKA Headquarters in Tokyo and continues the legacy with his dynamic teaching approach.
The camp features three tailored programs:
• Youth Program: A high-intensity program based on elite training techniques used at Japanese universities, designed to challenge and develop young students’ skills and physical conditioning.
• Adult Program: Focused on holistic training, this program emphasizes the JKA karate foundation and principles, offering a well-rounded approach to techniques, katas, kumite, and personal development.
• Instructors Program: A specialized session on teaching and advanced concepts, with subsidized training available for OJKA Canada Affiliate Head Instructors.
The camp includes practical training, grading (up to 3rd Dan), and a chance to connect with like-minded practitioners in a friendly, supportive environment.
