The Ottawa JKA was established in 1973 by Sensei Saeki, the Chief Instructor for over 30 years. The Ottawa JKA offers quality instruction for people of all ages with training specifically geared to each individual's potential. True karate-do is the trademark of the Ottawa JKA.
Sensei Saeki is a 7th Dan. He studied karate at the head dojo in Tokyo, Japan.
Sensei Saeki has developed one of the most respected reputations across Canada and the USA as a traditional Japanese karate instructor. He embodies the philosophy and spirit of Shotokan karate and strictly maintains the quality of karate as taught in Japan.
